Commander presented Award of Appreciation to Bruce Boenning
for his continued volunteer work at the Maricopa food pantry,
Veterans Transition Center, and HOHP. 
He is averaging 101 hours plus 739 travel miles per month.

The commander also presented an Award of Appreciation to Keith McGlaughlin
for the many hours volunteered to assume the Post Quartermaster position
when the past Quartermaster became too ill to continue.

 

 

The commanders of the VFW and American Legion accepted a plaque
made by Lynise Grell entitled, "Some Gave All.” 
The plaque is mounted in the Veteran’s Center Meeting Room. 

 

 

 

US Marine's 247th Birthday was celebrated 
at the Post on November 10, 2023

      

The veterans attending cut the cake and devoured it quickly.
