Greetings to Veterans:
Our local VFW Post #12043 in Maricopa is here (directions) to serve you. As American veterans and troops who have served abroad and fought hard to preserve our way of life, we honor you. From the Revolutionary War to today’s Global War against terrorism, most have put their lives in harms way. Many have paid the ultimate price to protect the freedoms we have. There are others, even in our own community who take these values for granted. Together we can change the miss conceptions.

Phil enlisted in the Army in 1965 where you served for years in Vietnam. He became a graphic designer and has worked for the state of Oregon for 26 years. He retired in 2003 and started the Cartoon "In-Country". The cartoons reflect his experiences during his tour of duty in South Vietnam.

CAN FOOD DRIVE
If we come up with 1500 lbs. of cans of food
through a VFW grant, participated by HUMANA.
HUMANA will donate $1500 that we could use towards Veterans
in need that come to the Veterans Center for assistance.
The win-win side of this we give all the cans
to the food pantry to go back into the community.
